OK - As of right now, we dont have a flower girl, which i didnt really care about FH has a 9 year old sister who will be 10 when we get married
His parents are not together and his mom is in a nursing home, though she is only 55, she is really sick and basically in a coma
When they do the intros at the reception, FFIL would come out alone which i think may make him feel weird
Should we ask his sister to be the FG so she could walk out with his father and they can introduce them together? Is 10 too old?

I don't think 10 is too old, but if YOU think it's too old, maybe she can just escort your FFIL into the reception. My grandfather is a widower and all 5 of his children (excluding my mom of course) will escort him into my reception. (Same for my paternal grandmother and FH's grandmother... they'll be escorted by their children so they don't have to walk alone.)
