I also believe that things happen at the right time for a reason. I sincerely hope you the job in TX. It will be a brand new start and a brand new perspective on things. If things are meant to be, they will be. Lots of 's to you.

You need to make sure you take care of yourself.
Decide what is best for you and even if there is a chance that FH may not follow. You deserve someone that will be supportive of you

With that said, The cost of living is much less in Dallas than NY so his 65k figure may be equivalent to 50K in Dallas. I have family that live in Dallas and the surrounding area and they are amazed at the prices here, rent, houses, etc.

Good Luck to you. You have some tough decisions ahead.

That's such a tough decision to make. I think you have to go with whatever you feel is right for you. If you feel you need to put your needs first and focus on you, then go for it. Especially if it's a good job opportunity for you- you could definitely live on $50K a year. The one thing you really have to consider is that with the distance, your relationship might not make it. It's so tough- take some time and really think about what you really want- don't move to Dallas just to escape, move if it's really the best thing for you.
