I need serious PRAYERS!!!!!! UPDATE
Everyone, please pray for my great Aunt Antonia (my grandmothers sister)....
She is 83 years old and so fragile and weak. She went to the hospital yesterday evening complaining of chest pains. The ran some tests and saw that her BP was dropping like crazy. After running tests overnight, they were getting ready to dismiss her around lunch today. As she was getting ready to leave, she fell foward landing on her face, causing huge black and blues everywhere. She was given a cat scan and also a chest Xrat ( I think) where the doctors saw that her aorta valve has a huge tear, not allowing the blood to circulate to her body properly. The blood is basically saturating around her entire heart and the doctors told us it is lethal. After being at StonyBrook, they transported her to LIJ in Manhasset. We just got home as she just entered an 8 hour operation to fix the tear and given her condition and risk, her chances of surviving the surgery are roughly 25-30%. We are going back at 8am which is when they expect the surgery to be over......
PLEASE pray for her!! She is like a second grandmother to me and my entire family is distraught. My grandmother is flying back from Greece 3 weeks early to be by her sisters side...
