I need some August Honeymoon Ideas

My fiance and I are having the hardest time figuring out where to go on our honeymoon. We're getting married in August so we can't go to the carribean or bahamas because of hurricane season. Europe too isn't great because it's very crowded and unbearably hot, from what I read.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

depending on where in europe you'd want to go it isn't necessarily too hot... it's at a higher lattitude than new york!

Europe! any part!

oops just read that you don't want Europe. It really depends where u go. If you don't go to the Mediterranean then its not unbearably hot.

Fh and I are going to Cabo San Lucas Mexico. No hurricanes there in August.

Definatly Aruba! Fh and I would have went there again, but i have been there like 5 times, so i was trying to do soemthing different lol

We went to Sandals Negril in Jamaica the first week in August for our HM. It was awesome and no hurricanes. If you want to do caribbean, maybe Aruba to be completely safe.

Dont go to Jamaica in August!!! We attempted to go 3 yrs ago and a hurricane hit in mid-august.

We are getting married in early August and going to Hawaii. My FBIL and FSIL went to the Canary Islands for their honeymoon (mid July). They had nothing but wonderful things to say about their trip and I think it is a pretty uncommon honeymoon location.

We went to Italy. It was hot but we had an amazing time. We spent a few days on the island of Elba and a couple of days in Cinque Terre...both on the sea...so romantic. We also spent time in Tuscany.

Not for nothing but even thought it's August - you can still have a HM in the Caribbean. We had ours at Sandals Grande Antigua & it was wonderful! I think if you go even a little further south like St Lucia or Barbados you have even less of a chance of storms. We had 1 day in Antigua where it rained on & off all day out of the 13 days we were there.There were 2 hurricanes that had developed & both went north of the island (& from what we were told, that happens A LOT! - that the storms completely miss the island!)

I just dont want you to rule out the Caribbean if that's a place you really would like to go...JMHO...

We are getting married August 6th and are spending almost 2 weeks in Aruba, it's supposed to have nice weather pretty much all the time and it's not really affected by hurricanes.
