I need some help....

Ladies, I want to send out save the dates with my x-mas cards but haven't ordered anything yet. Also, I don't know if it is too early and I don't have any Hotel info as of yet!! Does anyone one have any ideas for me? Would I send the Hotel info with save the dates or not? I am completely lost on this subject. Also, it will be 9 mos. before wedding.

I don't think 9 months is too far in advance,that's what save the dates are for. I wouldn't put the hotel info in there though, that goes in the invite itself. Most hotels allow you to hold rooms up until at least 5 wks before the wedding date. If your wedding is in the summer, it's a good idea to send them out soon because people take vacations around that time.

I used regular holiday cards, and then had an insert printed up at kinkos on thick paper (4 per 8.5x11 page, they cut them up for me as well) The insert cards were written as a casual letter, letting them know the when and where. It only takes like a half hour on the phone to set up a hotel block -- I would do this now. Some of your guests would want to make reservations immediately.
