Ok so...as you all probably know Im having my engagement party on April 25...when I originally had a vision for my eparty I was going to plan it in the summer and have like a luau theme. However we got engaged earlier and I didnt want to wait until the summer to have a party....so long story short
I would like to have like a vacation theme at the party. Fh and I love to travel and have been to many different places...so instead of having boring table numbers I wanted to have destination tables. So for example people would be sitting at table Jamaica...the thing is I would like to have pics of us at those destinations as the centerpeices...
Can anyone help me with ideas for the centerpieces???

o0ooo how fun!! How about like travel book covers-- they are always gorgeous and either making a spaller version or making your own to look like them with the name of the place on top of a picture? idk if what i said was confusing or not though lol

what about doing something with the colors of each countries flag? Like Jamaica is Black Yellow and Green I believe so you could do a black tablecloth with yellow roses and green napkins or something along with maybe a little something in a frame about Jamaica and your favorite spots there?

I was at Kohl's a week ago. They had a ton of 'beach theme' things..like candles and shells and vases. All on sale for anywhere from 30%-50% off. If you're looking for something inexpensive I would check out kohl's.
Maybe you can do tropical/beach? I'm having a summer wedding so all of this stuff caught my eye!

Also, If you still want to have a luau theme, try looking at the Dollar Tree- they usually have luau themed party stuff around this time a year (or any dollar store for that matter). Also Party City is a good place to look!

hmmm, what about something from each region, like a mini Eiffel tower for France, A Bull Fighter for Spain, etc.
Or take a picture you like of both of you and photoshop the flag or a picture of the area behind you?

to tell people where to sit, make mini passports with their names on it, and inside it tells them a flight number, and have each table a different airline flight with a destination to Jamaica, Bahamas, France, China, Italy, etc.
Then at the table have postcards of different sites in that region, with the centerpiece being the flag for the nation?

I like the passport idea and the idea of having a centerpiece to go with the theme of the name of the table. If I can think of something else, I'll let you know,, Sounds like your party is gonna be a blast

For the mini passports, you could make them out of black Card Stock Paper, or get mini notepads and put in the information you want.
If you get the black card stock, you could print the names or have them put on in white or silver, then print the passport page to insert with the table information

I am making the mini passports...we found the symbol online for the front of the passport...ill post pics as soon and I get them
