Ok, well, you have to remember that if it's a ballgown...you can make it bigger with crinoline or a hoop skirt, like Jenn did...and like Marcella is doing right??

Have you started shopping? You have to get into the good stores! They'll show you what you want bubby!

Glasgow makes huge gowns, so does my designer Eve of Milady. There are so many T!

Go to Reem Acra in the city. Out of all the gowns i tried on, her ballgowns were the most elaborate

Hi Theresa...you sound stressed honey...Don't worry so!!!

At the top of this page click on Wedding Services. After that Ron and Liz added a link at the very top of the page all the way to the right that says GOWNS. There are links to lots of designers. I hope it helps you!!! Good luck...and ENJOY dress hunting sweetie!!!

Kleifelds had lots of Ballgowns. Big and puffy...I think you might find some nice stuff there. Some of those designers mentioned above are there...Richard Glasgow gowns are beautful and they have a bunch of his.

I was looking at dresses at Priscilla of Boston the other day, and they definitely had a few big gowns. Also, I saw a number at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset - I think they were by St. Pucchi (I didn't try them on, so I am not certain, but they looked familiar from magazines).

Theresa, This was my gown (except I wore it without the straps) and it was pretty full. I wore crinloine underneath. It is an Eve of Milady. Most of her gowns are very 'ball-gownish'.

ETA - hmmm...I can't post from the website. I'll try to get my own pic.

Remeber, as long as you don't get an a-line gown there's plenty you can do to make the skirt as full as you want...one of my girlfriends put 2 crinolines under her skirt (the hoop might have been an easier option, but she didn't think of that) and it made her skirt HUGE!!!

T - Here are a couple of pics of my dress. Hope you can see them clearly. EOM dress usually run between 1K and 2K. I think mine was about $1400.
