I need some help with my guest book
I don't want to do the traditional guest book. I want to have card sized pieces of paper that the guests will write some wishes and advise for us and then put in a bowl. (I came across the idea in a wedding magazine). I am then going to mount them in a beautiful scrap book (that I just found today).
I'm not sure how I should do the cards.
Should I. . .
1) Send cards with the invites so that guests can fill them out beforehand? (They can also send them back with the reply even if they aren't coming.) If I do this I will have extras at the reception in case people forget.
I am afraid that the cards might need to be a little larger than the reply envelop and then people will fold them.
2) Just do it at the reception?
I am afraid that people won't have enough time to come up with what they want to say.
