i need some MALE feedback...

hello FH's....

ok so i mentioned on another topic that im announcing the bridal party at our engagement party in march,

and for the ladies, they will all be getting buttons/pins whatever u wanna call them, that say 'Bridesmaid' or 'Maid of Honor' etc that they can wear that day, the shower, the bachelorette party, etc...

HOWEVER........i am kinda clueless on what to have FH get the guys...my first instinct was that a button would be something the guys would NOT want to have to wear, and then i thought of getting custom 'livestrong' bracelets that say 'groomsman' etc.

Then i asked my dad, and he said he'd rather wear a button than the bracelet, as long as it was masuline, like black button w/ white letters, nothing girly...

BASICALLY.....i'd like ur opinions, not jus on the 2 options mentioned, but if theres another idea u hve...

ok, im not male. but if you are interested in my feedback. i think you should just do buttons for all. its all the same BP and its one less thing you need to worry about.

thats true, i feel like im wasting a lot of time worrying about this...and looking for stuff...

any females opinions are welcome too LOL hope i didnt come off otherwise, i figured the guys would jus be happy to have a post looking for their help...

Well I guess its all depends on the type of guys they are. If it was me I would want a bracelt. But, I was also thinking..... What about black dogchain necklaces. With groomsman or bestman engraved on it. You proberly can find it cheap on ebay or something.

ahh im so torn...i dunno...i guess im gonna have to run these ideas by FH too, he knows the guys better than me!! LOL

I would like the bracelet more than the botton, I'd be a lot more likely to wear that again than to wear a button everywhere..

OK, not a guy, but my FH was recently asked to be a groomsman in a pretty unique way - it was at the couple's engagement party. The groom gathered up his guys and said he wanted to get a beer with all of them and made them all walk over to the bar area with him. He asked the bartender for the beers, and the bottles had special labels that said 'Will you be my groomsman' - so, it was very original and a surprise. They had made the labels themselves and stuck them on the bottles the night before. I just thought of this because last night FH was going through his closet and found the bottle. HTH
