My sisters cat (the family cat) is at the vets over night an he might die. The cat has been going through some times theses last couple of months and I think his body can't take it. He had a blockage and couldn't pee so we brought him to the vet and he was unblocked and we went home. A couple of weeks later he was blocked again so we brought him back and this time they said that they couldn't unblock him and had to give him surgery. A surgery to make him from a boy to a girl to make his pee come out faster. Well my sister doesn't have money like that so she was upset and didn't know what to do seeing that the cat is not even three yet. So the vet gave the surgery to her for free but she has never done the surgery before. So after that the cat is feeling better but still has stiches. Then he gets them taken out and now has an infection. We take him back a couple of times and they say that he is doing fine. So monday he was getting sick again and is starting to have the shakes so I took him to the vet. They say he is fine, he has the shakes because of his medicine and I can pick him up. Today and yesterday he hardly moved, didn't eat or drink and couldn't pee. So I brought him in today and they tell me that his body is producing a mucus that is forever blocking him. So there is no help. I'm just so sad because even with the free surgery my sister has spent 3,000 dollars and the cat is only three!!! I feel like the vet messed up and is trying to cover up. Has anyone ever heard of this? Sorry so long!!! Please pray for Fatty!!

I am so sorry to hear about this. I hope everything works out. The thought of losing a family pet is so overwhelming sometimes and losing that pet is hard. My thoughts are with you

Thank you for caring! I wish that i can wake up and have him in my face b/c he is hungry. lol. He is so cute. I don't want him to go.

I am sorry to hear that and hope all works out well. I lost my cat of 13 years a few weeks ago and I am still so sad over it. We love those little guys so much.
