I need some time off!

Anyone else feeling burnt out with work? I would love a vacation right now! I need some serious rest!!!

be glad you have your job.
i always want time off and right now I am on strike.
I am in a union, and we striked for a bigger pay raise, other than what the company offered us. We have a 3 year contract & it's time to renew. We started the strike Thursday night and who knows when I'll go back.
Tomorrow morning again (like Friday), I'll go to my job, sign a sheet saying I was there, and come home. Nice huh? No, because I am not getting paid for these days out, and with saving for a wedding it is not good.

I have more time than I know what to do with...I got laid off a little over a week ago. I'm being paid to do nothing (6 months severance).

I was so burnt out at work...I won't start looking for another job until next year (technically I'm still employed through 12/31 - I just don't have to show up). Now I'm looking for fun things to fill my time...

Yeah, i would love some time off, but then again, am happy to have my job!!
A three day weekend would be nice, I know thanksgiving is coming up, but not soon enough!

Dont get me wrong, I am SO THANKFUL for my job. It has saved me in so many ways. I wouldnt be getting married, I wouldnt have freedom from some terrible people in my family etc...
I am so greatful, but I am feeling so run down. I hope all works out with your strike jenn! Keep me posted...
