we used this song too. my dad cried the first time he listened to it, and for much of our dance.

ang, are you not having a father/dauther dance? my dad and i just basically turned in a circle, and that was the dance. or maybe they could shorten the song for you?

I don't think so. My Dad walks leaning over with a cane, and really can't stand without it so I don't think he could even stand up long enough and I don't want him to be embarssed.

I'm a bit disappointed but I guess this is what happens when you get married in your 40's...my grandmother who is 93 can't make it, my Dad can't get around well, my FH's parents are both deceased, I have no Aunt's or Uncles left. But I know they will still all be with me and it's going to be a great day.
