I need tipping help!

Maitre D- $2-3 per person
Bridal attendant- $75-100?? Is that right?

How much are you tipping
Deacon and Rabbi?
Photgrapher?

I am assuming we don't tip the band? Or do we? Our band is so expensive as it is!!

I thought I read a post that someone is tipping their waiters?

I have no idea how much to tip the deacon or the photogrpaher yet... but I know the guy I booked for with the DJ.. since he threw in the extra hour overtime asked me nicely to 'take care of' the guys.. which we were planning on doing anyway.
Your forgetting the limo driver - as long as they did a good job and were decently pleasent to deal with I would tip. Esp if its the same person driving you home that night!

WOW!!!..that much to the DJ and photographer??...is this the norm?

This is what I gave 4 dollars per person to the matre d, we had a small guets list about 90 people and he did a GREAT job,
I gave 200 to the DJ< but we know him and he cut us a bit of a deal, I gave the photographer 150, but I would have doen it differently if I could do it again, I would have tipped 100 now and the rest if I liked the pics when I saw them,
I gave 100 to the video ( he owned the business, but KNOW my video witll be great)
I tipped 20 per delivery guy( florist)
we hada REVerened, but he works for himself, so we gave him his personal fee, and that was it, because he doesnt have to give that moeny to anyone, we tipped 25 per ceremony musician,

did you have a Matre'd fee included in the contract? i have one which equates to ~$4 per person and i don't know if i need to tip on top of that...i don't THINK so, but...

agree with the photos, i will give an additional tip once i see the final product...

I calculated the DJ based upon the fact that there will be 2 men and the photographer was based on 10-15% of what he charged me (there will be 2 as well on the day). I budgeted this amount but i am also open to seeing what others will be doing or have done.
