So jackie is totally gonna kill me for this… but I gotta know if I’m the weird one here, or am I just normal. Jackie has this thing where you cant mix garbage. Explanation; the other day I threw an old sock away, and I threw it in the bathroom garbage pail. That apparently was wrong. bathroom garbage consists of tissues, floss, used razors…etc. old socks belong in the bedroom garbage, or even the kitchen. So if I was finishing up a beverage from a fast food establishment, and I was walking by the bathroom, and I tossed it in the bathroom receptacle, she would spaz out.
am I weird for thinking this is weird??? is there anyone else out there that agrees with Jackie on this?? I was under the impression that trash is trash regardless of where it came from.

Sorry John, I'm totally with Jackie on this one. I don't mix the garbages like that and it actually kind of freaks me out a little

Gotta agree with Jackie on this one....Seperate garbage pails for seperate garbage...Kitchen is where food stuff goes, bedroom, socks//bedroom garbage,, bathroom for razors tissues etc.
I think its a woman thing...Shawn throws stuff away in whatever garbage pail is near him and it kills me inside!!! ( i dont want to look at a fast food cup while I am in the shower!!!)

sorrrrry John but i totally get skeeved if there is anything other than bathroom garbage in the bathroom.. and i get so mad if theres food garbage in the bedroom..
bathroom: tissues razors finished toilet paper rolls etc
bedroom: new clothing tags tissues
kitchen: food
BUT i will throw anything in the kitchen garbage..

Here John- let me try to offer you up some reasoning as to why this happens.
First of all, I know I tend to clean out my bathroom trash less often (it doesn't fill up as quick). So if you throw food in it, the food will be all gross and old and smelly when you do empty it.

09er crashing.... I have a slight prob with throwing food related items into the bathroom garbage only bc that garbage doesnt get emptied as frequently as the kitchen...

I agree with TheLadyJ. I am just glad it gets into the garbage. But I can understand why Jackie and some of the other ladies freak out. Think of it this way. For ex. food. For the most part garbage pails in the kitchen have lids. So if you throw food away there, eventually a stench can arise, but since it has a cover on it, you most likely won't sense it. (Unless you open it) However if you were to throw it away in the bathroom or bedroom pails, which have no cover, you might end up having a stinky room. HTH

we have an easy way of making this work at our apartment. the bathroom & bedroom pails are rather small & have no lids. which means if you throw food in them, the cat will pull the food out & then there will be food on the floor.
however your plastic fast food cup should be recycled.
cloths always get bagged sepretely in our house because we donate them to the poor unless they are unwearable. then they go into a small basket in the front of the apartment & then usually go to my sisters dog as toys. or could be used to dust.

I would say I have to agree with JOHN on this one... There is no reason... as a scholar on everything garbage LoL I can say that it does not make a difference what you throw into what garbage!!! Just make sure you recycle....
