I need to find a hair and make up artist!!! Help...

I live in Queens too.. Iam using Elena from the Bridal touch. She is a vendor on here. Her trial is in LI but she is awesome and will travel to you the day of.

She is great too and lives in Ditmars, Queens

Oksana lives in Fresh Meadows, but will charge you a travel fee unless you live in Fresh Meadows, too.

I also considered using Nycki (spelling?) from SPAce Salon in Astoria (near Ditmars)...she can come to your house and charges very reasonable rates. She does both hair and make-up...I've used her for my engagement party and for my nephew's baptism, and was VERY happy with her both times. Plus, my SIL used her for my wedding and came out great!

Well Oksana and Jenn live in queens but i would contact them ASAP bc they book up quickly, usually a year ahead of time or even more sometimes.

You can look at other hair and make up artists that specialize in weddings bc most will come to you.

Theres also Christie's & Co. in bayside and they have great prices for make up, not sure how much they charge for bridal make up bc ive gone for other occasions such as when i was a bm or for my e-pics so i got charged regular prices not bridal. It was $30 for regular and $60 for airbrush.

She is right.. I contacted her like over a year before my wedding (like right after I got engaged in April) and they were booked for my date :(

I used my local hair girl. She actually did two other 08 brides for their wedding. She is located on the border of Jackson Heights/Astoria. I absolutely loved how my hair and makeup came out. It was exactly what I wanted.
