FMIL just called to say that FH's cousin is engaged and getting married next August. Ok so It's at a country club in PA- so I'm wodering what it looks like- which is TOTALLY normal-- but THEN.....
For some reason I freak out that she'll have my dress!! Of all the dresses in the world?!?!
You think that is the crazy part.... I GO ONTO THE SITE AND CHECK TO SEE HOW MANY PLACES IN PENN CARRY THE MON CHERI COUTURE LINE AND PROCEED TO FLIP WHEN THERE ARE 27 SHOPS THAT CARRY COUTURE!!!!
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!??!?! Fh thinks I lost it... he might be right.

The chances are probably slim to none that she'd get the same gown as you- but does she know what gown you're wearing?

NO.... not a close relative so I feel it MAY be strange to call her up and be like... HI there- I know we've only met that one time- but I just wanted to give you the designer and name of my gown so you don't wear it. Great talking to you...

i totally understand and can relate to your fears. my cousin got engaged after i did, but got married a few months ago and i was convinced that his fiance would have my gown, that they'd have the same flowers, invites, everything... it didn't help that her name is also Kerri(lynn) and people kept pointing that out to me.
then my brother's best friend got engaged after us and married before us and i was afraid of the same thing...
everything worked out fine. nothing was similar and no one will care anyway.
