I am crying. I feel so bad, as do my neighbors.

Anthony works nights once to twice a week so I sleep with my phone.
Anyway, my neighbor is using a saw and thats all I hear until I hear a girl FRANTIC, SCREAMING, help, I dont want to go, crying, pleading... My heart dropped. I thought it was in my backyard because it was so loud and when I realized it was out front I grabbed my phone and ran to the front window, while dialing, because you are ALWAYS put on hold for at least 30 second. (The cops just came for more info and I cried I was so embarassed, but I heard this girl! I felt bad because no one could describe the vehicle, it was dark and noone got a license plate) She was terrified. I am so afraid for her right now. I am so afraid to live here. I live right next to the woods and the neighboring house is currently vacant. I dont know if Im over reacting. I dont think I have ever been so afraid for someone.

Anyway, sorry Im all over the place. So I open the door and my neighbors are out and I asked them what happened and theyre all there stunned and they say a guy grabbed a girl by the woods and pushed her in his car and took off!!

I am just so emotional over this. I am still shaking. I dont want to call Anthony because he will worry all night about me. I just feel so scared for this girl.

I just got an FM from a fellow LIW bride. She said to watch out for a 2005 black ford ranger. Hes a sexual predator, white man with white hair... Thats all I know..

in the patchogue area?

Don't let it scare you out of your home. There's crime everywhere. When I went to school in LI I had friends who were afraid to come to my house in Queens, LOL. It just goes to show you it can happen anywhere, you can't run from it, it will follow you

yes, in patchogue.. She said he lives on Gilette street or something.

ETA: Not saying this man had anything to do with this frantic girl, just an FM from a concerned LIWer of yet someone else to look out for.

Also, just because you dont hear of a crime doesnt mean it didnt happen. If you heard this girl like myself and my neighbors did you would know she was terrified and I dont think it was just a little argument with a parent.

But hey - you never know. All I know is we now have an alarm system, want to get a dog and are moving within the next few months.

There are listings of sex offenders for every town, but I don't think it is fair to assume that the former sex offender had anything to do with this when there is absolutely no proof of that. Believe me, the cops keep their eyes on the released sex offenders, but to to bring them up every time something (and it sounds like nothing illegal even happened in this situation) is brought up just isn't right.

Im just relaying info that was FMd to me.

Sorry if anyone doesnt like it, but whether he did anything or not, I was told to watch out for him and Im glad I know about it. He is definately someone I dont want around my child whether hes done his time or not.
