I am crying. I feel so bad, as do my neighbors.
Anthony works nights once to twice a week so I sleep with my phone. Anyway, my neighbor is using a saw and thats all I hear until I hear a girl FRANTIC, SCREAMING, help, I dont want to go, crying, pleading... My heart dropped. I thought it was in my backyard because it was so loud and when I realized it was out front I grabbed my phone and ran to the front window, while dialing, because you are ALWAYS put on hold for at least 30 second. (The cops just came for more info and I cried I was so embarassed, but I heard this girl! I felt bad because no one could describe the vehicle, it was dark and noone got a license plate) She was terrified. I am so afraid for her right now. I am so afraid to live here. I live right next to the woods and the neighboring house is currently vacant. I dont know if Im over reacting. I dont think I have ever been so afraid for someone.
Anyway, sorry Im all over the place. So I open the door and my neighbors are out and I asked them what happened and theyre all there stunned and they say a guy grabbed a girl by the woods and pushed her in his car and took off!!
I am just so emotional over this. I am still shaking. I dont want to call Anthony because he will worry all night about me. I just feel so scared for this girl.

Perhaps it was not some random act, but rather two people who knew each other and were just messing around...A couple in a fight maybe? A father who found her daughter hanging out some place where she didn't belong... You don't know...Just take it easy. Maybe more details will emerge today. Hope you were able to rest.

Do yo u have an alarm system installed?? Please think about gettingthat with a dog(if you can get a dog).

Unfortunately, scary sh!t can happen WHERE EVER you live. I grew up in a nice area of Smithtown, and had a house explode next to me, someone try to break into my house in the middle of the night and a guy who was attacked and bloody crawl onto my door step and ask us to call the police. It *****, but just keep your doors locked and what not. Hopefully everything is ok. I'm sure it's a good sign that there was nothing about it in the news or anything.

Well I havent heard anything, but like I said it could have been anything. All I could tell by her screams was that she was TERRIFIED. Thats why I called the cops. If it was a reguilar fight I might think twice. This girl was TERRIFIED. Anyway, we asked the landlord if we could get a dog and he said no. Anthony wants to get a gun for the house, I dont feel comfortable with that either. We already have 3 locks on both doors but he swears he could get in if he wanted to. I just hate to feel like I cant even sleep with the windows open.
Someone from my soccer team told me that she just decided to rent her house in Yaphank so we might do that. I know crime happens anywhere, but here is just a bit creepy at night. We also have an AA house diagonally across the street from us and they are always partying outside and a girl who used to live next door told me they used to yell nasty things to her as she walked down the street.
Anyway, the landlord is going to rent the house next door to a NYC cop, he moves in 7/1 and Anthony has a months vacation as of 7/5 and then hes donating his bone marrow so he gets a little more time home, so we have time to think about it. It will be so nice to have him home every night. I DEFINATELY sleep deeper and feel so much safer when hes home.

I dont know Im told its a house for recovering alcaholics? All I know is a LOT of loud people live there. My neighbor told me thats what it was and seems to make some sense.

I've never heard of an AA house, and I know a few people who have gone through the program.
Maybe it's a halfway house, where people go after they get out of jail to get re-aclimated to regular life?

That might be it.. I dont know. I only know what my neighbors have told me. Either way.. Im sure in every place theres crime. Im kinda just freaked out right now. Im just happy I dont have to think about it for a while because Anthonys almost on vacation.

i haven't heard of any girl missing, and my FH lives down the block from there too and he hasn't heard anything either.

Yeah, I thought there would be something on News 12 or in Newsday, and there wasn't. Makes me think it was a parent or something. If something was amiss it would have been in the news by now.

I just got an FM from a fellow LIW bride. She said to watch out for a 2005 black ford ranger. Hes a sexual predator, white man with white hair... Thats all I know..
