Me n fh just had a huge blow out bc two mths before the wed he decides he wants to add more guys to the bridal party we are already off seven girls n nine guys. Now he wants to add four more guys. Its is ssssooooo uneven he was then so we could add two girl cousin I dnt want to add anyone else especially his grl cousins I dno why he is doin this two mths before the wed I gave a year to figure out who he wanted he just asked his bro to be his bm last week I dno wat nakes him wait this long. He thinks thar this isn't a big deal. He tries to make it like if we dnt put them in it is like them not comiong to the wes I knoiw he wants them a part but I gave him sooooo long to figure out who he wants like his cousins and less friends or watever I evenm got over the whole seven n nine but now all this is sooo much. He doenst understand how much stress I'm goin through with this wed

Maybe you can make them ushers instead of groomsmen?

They can seat the guests and hand out programs and be mentions in the programs?

I agree with the poster who suggested making them ushers. Maybe you can find jobs for them that don't involve them having to be paired up, and your FH can call them whatever they want.

We have it pretty uneven. I have two BMs and he has 4 men (although one of them is my best friend, so really it's even in terms of our friends).

We all know it's impractical for you to add women this close to the wedding. Unless by some chance you can get more dresses quickly. But really, if he wants these guys in his pictures, so be it. You'll figure out a creative way to use them that will satisfy his 'I want more guys' but still keep things more balanced. How about a valet? A bubble holder? An usher whose job it is to keep track of a young nephew (or his toys)? Maybe you can ask one of them to be your official unofficial photographer and he can just stand out front beforehand and take pictures of people as they come in.

Don't stress or fight if you can help it... you'll get through this!!

we have an uneven number too... BM, MOH, 4 BMs and 8 GMs...........

out BH and MOH will be paired of course, and each BM will be escorted by 2 guys.

maybe you could make that work out...............

this is wat I feel i kow they are your cousins but it is kind weird o ask them right before the wedd I would think it was weird if someone asked me that....He is just sooo stubborn....And with all the advice you girls gave me I would love if he would want them to do something else but they arent younger men so that wouldnt be sucha ideal job and I think they would be offered to do those jobs. I dont kow what I am going to do...he doewsnt think this is at all a big deal but to me it is. things were starting to cool down and i wasnt that much stressed and now he is getting me all upset again. i just think seven girls and 13 guys are crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy it is going to look retarted and prob will have to stand like 18 feet away to take a picture with all of us in it....

wow i can relate FH added more groomsmen and we are uneven which i will make work at this point but on the money end it was more gifts and we had to go to limo company and get a larger limo $$$$, Maybe if you need a larger limo this will set him straight.

no that wont work becyase either the guys will meet us there bc they already live in LI or the party bus hold 30 and they are 17 without in in there already
