I need to vent

Ok so one of my BMs is getting married 3 months before me and I'm the MOH for her wedding. I have been planning the bridal shower for 2 months going back and forth with all the other girls and everyone has been great accept 1. There is one BM that has been not willing to help with anyting for the shower and has already said she isnt going to the bachelorette party. I have been annoyed dealing with her the whole time and to make matters worse the bridal shower that we all planned for 2 months was yesturday and she didnt even show up. She never called but she sent an e-mail saying she wasnt coming at 12 when the shower actually started.

She got married 3 years ago that my friend who's shower we throwing was in so its not like she can say she doesnt know how everything works. I'm just so annoyed with her but I feel so bad for the bride. She called me today at work wondering where the missing BM was and wanted to know hows shes been to deal with. The bride is really nervous she is going to back out of the wedding that is in 2 months.

ah I would be honest with her but not be harsh. . just say honestly she's been pretty *** but I really don't know why. . and then let her deal with it. it can be tempting to protect her but it would be worse to have to arrange everything later and for the bride to buy her a BM gift and everything and plan and then be without a BM in the end. .

and sounds like you are a great BM!! she should be happy to have you

Wow that is really messed up! I would be honest with the bride and let her know what is going on. It would be a good thing if the bride could talk to her soon and find out what her deal is because if the girl doesnt really want to be in the wedding...then get the hell out! The bride doesnt need people up there with her on her special day by force. They should REALLy want to be there.

ITA!!!! I would want to know if it was me and my MOH knows that she BETTER tell me if anyone pulls crap like that! People are so damn rude!!!!!

I agree as well. I have a problem BM, and she gives me guff right to my face, so I can imagine my other BMs, and I would certainly want my sisters to tell me if she was being uncooperative.
