Ok, so I went to two tuxedo places tonight with FH. I think I am more confused now than before we even went.
My dress is Ivory and both places agreed that FH needs to wear an Ivory vest. Here is where they differ. First place says, ivory vest, white shirt and ivory tie. Second place says ivory vest, ivory shirt, ivory tie. I have no idea what to do, please give me some advice!!

I am not really sure, and I havent seen what it will look like, but I would lean more towards ivory everything.

I did ivory everything... IMO I dont like white WITH ivory...

Ivory is very hard to match in terms of the tux. The colors that I do know that coordinate with ivory are def chocolate, brown, black, soft silver, gold. Maybe this color combination chart can help with your planning. It's for invites but it shows the different colors according to seasons for weddings.

Thanks so much for this, it will help me with tux shopping. I also just changed to an ivory dress and didn't know what we were going to do in terms of colors!

I had a n ivory dress. DH wore a black tux with ivory vest & tie and w white shirt. He wore the white shirt because ivory rented shirts tend to yellow since its been worn/washed so many times and it was a nice, very subtle, contrast against the vest & tie. Either way though I think it would be fine, thats just how we chose to do it.
