I need any advice that you can give. I'm not going to get into details, but I need help. Do any of you know of any online courses or certification that I could complete within a few months that would make me even slightly employable?? If you have any ideas please give them to me. There has to be something, I don't need to make a lot of money, but I need a stable decent job, and fast!!! I used to bartend before becoming a stay at home mom, but that is no longer an option for me. I need some sort of office or otherwise 'respectable' career. Like I said I know with a short course I will not become a millionaire, I would be happy with $25,000 a year. I think that this is possible, but again I need your help. Please ladies you have been there for me before, through my wedding postponement and other things. I need you more then ever now, I know at least one of you will come through for me with some ideas. Thank you very much. I'm even willing to try a work at home job as long as it's with a reputable company and not a scam. I don't have real computer skills, but I'm great with people, I'm intelligent, and I'm a very quick study. HELP!!!!

I have no idea how long it takes or how expensive it is to learn but medical records coding is a stable, respectable field for which you don't need a degree. It's a specialized field and good coders are usually in demand.

If you start the paralegal process (it's not short, but will make you more in the end), you may be able to get a job at a law firm as a receptionist while taking the classes. They may hire you with the knowledge that you will work for them as a paralegal when your classes are finished. Not to mention, they'll be paying you a decent salary while you go, and may augment some of the cost for you. I'd look into it!
Additionally, if you look at colleges for jobs (administrative jobs in the offices like at the registrar), they will often pay your tuition at college. This could be a good longer term solution and you wouldn't have to quit working while you're at it.
Also, try www.idealist.org for non-profit administrative jobs that don't require a lot of experience. They could help pay your way through school sometimes too.
Sorry, it isn't exactly an answer to your question, but these are alternatives that came to mind!
