For that you may have a smaller number...you can be less formal and send to 'Family X' even if later you will send to 'Mr & Mrs X' and their adult son 'Mr. X' (I did this with my adult cousins who are still living with their parents)
that is a good idea - but ugh we still have to figure out who we plan on inviting - which is NOT FUN

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE only send out STDs to family members and CLOSE friends. . . and I mean CLOSE as in you would have them in your will friends
ohh yeah - how does this work? do you send them to everyone? b/c the whole point is to let people know (like the people i havent seen since im 10) that they are invited - like give them a heads up that im even engaged

i know that when i first got engaged my guest list was TOTALLY different and i would have been forced to invite them if i sent out STDs
i didnt send them out though i found it much more effective to talk about my wedding constantly for the past two years. . .

well our guest list will be the same as far as family members that is for sure.
i really wanted to send STDs out to friends that i dont get to see that much - like friends from childhood that i see every month or so....of course i tell them they are invited but i wanted to send something a little more formal to them so they know we want them to be there....
maybe we wont send any to our bosses and co-workers.....just our close friends and family for now?
