I'm probably having the engagement party in six weeks and I wanted to ask/announce it there. How are you going to do it or how did you do it?

I asked each person one on one in person. We went out for lunch/dinner. I told them how much each of them means to me.

allof my girls except 1 alreasy knew/assumed... i asked her at my engagement party i just said would u like to be a bridesmaid n she said ofcourse

Hey!
I did it at my engagement party.
I got bridal party shot glasses off oriental trading that said 'bridesmaid' 'maid of honor' etc. and printed out a cute little 'will you be my bridesmaid poem' that I found on LIW and printed it on cardstock with their name.
I got little baggies and put the poem and shot glass in it and called them up one by one to get their gift. After I called them all up...we took a celebratory shot!!!!! It was great!!
The guys did the same thing....
