I need your help on my BM dresses

I need your help on my BM dresses

Ok so I went today with my MOH to look for the BM dresses and the two dresses I had in mind the store didn't have. I was trying to stay away from strapless dresses because I didn't think it would be appropriate for some of my BM's (two of the BM's are FH's neices and they will be 15 & 13 and then I have two junior BM's who will be 10) Well every dress that I loved was strapless and I know I can add straps but I think it will take away from the dress. All of my BM's are skinny minnies (yuck!) and have no chests with the exception of my SIL who has HUGE boobs!! So my question is do you think a strapless dress would be appropriate for my BM's considering the ages? (It does come with a shawl and I'm willing to consider the straps for the Junior BM's unless I find them a different dress all together)

I'll post a pic of the dress so you can see exactly what I'm talking about. I really need your honest opinions ladies!! TIA

I think its fine...talk it over with their parents though...if anything perhaps for the 13 yr old at least....have the straps added to it? I dont think it'll take away from the dress at all.

It's a very pretty dress. I think Bebalina made a good point - talk to the parents and see how they feel...also offer the strap alternative if there is hesitation. Let us know how it works out.

I'd agree.

I guess if I added straps they would be the champagne color right?

I don't think it's a big deal. One of my BM's is 15 and I picked out a strapless dress. As long as the dress is tasteful (which yours certainly is) i don't think it should be a problem

I would find another dress entirely or one for the younger BMs and junior BM. JMO but I do not think it is appropriate for a 10, 13 or 15 year old to be in a strapless dress.

I agree. I felt weird putting my JR bms in a halter. As a teacher too, I think strapless is a little too bold for 13 and under. Sorry.

Do you think it would still be in apporpriate to put them in the dress with straps?

I think the champage color would probably look the best too.

Definitely and talk to the kids themselves to make sure they would feel comfortable. I agree, it wouldn't take away from the dress at all. very pretty!

OMG That's my BM Dress. I ordered it this month. They said they can make straps for the dress if need be. They will however be the color you chose for the skirt part. The dress looks fantastic on all my BM's so I'd definitely go for it.

A good seamstress can also make the shawls into little bolero jackets. It's a little more coverage than just the shawl. Otherwise, i think adding spagetting straps would be appropriate.

Thanks so much ladies-I'm pretty sure this is the dress I'll be going with but I'm not 100% sure yet because I wanted my Junior BM's to be in the same or similar dress so I have to go back with some of my BM's and have them try it on etc.
