Ok girls I need your help. I had a make up trial almost 2 weeks ago. The make up artist put foundation on me, plus eye makeup, etc. I have really sensitive skin. I really liked the job she did, so I booked her on the spot (bad mistake). Almost right after we left the salon, my eye lids started to burn a little bit. Before she applied the eye shadow, she had put special eye moisterizer on my eye lids because she thought my eye lids were really dry. Also, my skin broke out all over my face. It broke out in places its never broken out before. Its still broken out in some places- and its almost 2 weeks later! I have been battling with this in my head for the past 2 weeks. What should I do????????? Should I call her up and tell her?

I also have really sensitive skin, so I know what you mean. Definitely call her and let her know. It seems that she needs to use hypo-allergenic products on you and be careful on the types of lotion that she puts on you (I also break out and can only use oil free, dye free, perfume free stuff). She should give you another trial with all the changes, if she's not open to what you say, you need to look for another make up artist - after all, you don't want your skin breaking out on your wedding day!

Yea, definitely call her. You'll get a good idea as to whether she's receptive to do another trial or not, and if not, it may be worth it to go to another artist so that you and your fac is happy the day of the wedding.

call her and tell her! She should want to know about this. Then, she will probably offer to do another trial for free to see how you react.

I have sensitive skin so I sympathize. Definitely call and tell her! She can make modifications with the make up she uses. Ultimately, if you keep breaking out, the right thing for her to do would be to refund the money and let you find someone who uses make up your skin can tolerate.

you should definitely call her and tell her, so that she can use different products. also, be sure to go for another trial so you can see how you react to any other products she uses... then buy some of those products and use them a few times yourself, since some allergies can be delayed.
