i am getting married on saturday and woke up with a sore tthroat and tingleys in my nose

so just came back from the dr, he told me its a combo between allergies and a small cold, he gave me some med and promised i will feel much better by tomorrow, he also gave me his cell phone #in case something happed (explained i was getting married)
Also i asked about the b12 shot and he says he doesnt give them to anyone, something about there has been no studies about it actaully working, but who knows

Take lots of vitamin c. Two capsules a day in the morning at least. Good for fighting off infection. Hope you feel better.

Just go to the dr. They may be able to give you something to stop whatever is coming!!!! Better safe than sorry!!!!!!
Sounds like allergies though...Dr can give you a perscription allergy pill.. I swear by Allegra..no drowsiness!!!

gargle with warm water and salt... sometimes when my throat hurts I use listerine cause I think its killing the bacteria in my mouth and throat... i hope you feel better!

Suck on cold-eeze, gargle and try and get lots of rest! Drink plenty of fluids too!

i agree, the doctor can give you a shot, i think its a b12 shot or something. Many singers use it, they get a shot right before they go on stage to sing when they have bad sore throats

drink lots of tea with lemon and honey, rest, also gargle with water and baking soda (Arm & Hammer), baking soda is less abrrassive than salt.
Above all REST!
Also..I agree about going to the dr.

gargle your throat - it helps.....tylenol sometimes even helps a sore throat (for me it does), take airborne, vitamin C, chicken soup, tea with honey, do it all! id try to get a b12 shot too! but not in your arm you dont want a mark on your arm for the wedding!

Isn't there a lawsuit out againt Airborn? I thought I read that somewhere....i would def. suggest Vit C and maybe give your doctor a shout to just let him/her know maybe they can recommend something! And rest rest rest!

vitamin C, Zinc, Zicam, warm water and salt. I swear by zicam.
there is something going on with airborne; i think a class action suit. it's not because it's bad they are just saying false claims. the vitamins in it will still help.
ooooh and i really like theraflu. try that.

I agree that your best bet is to go to the Doctor and tell them you're getting married on Saturday.

get Zycam at any drug store (cvs, wallgreens). it comes in a nose spray, mouth spray and mouth tab. you take it every 4 hrs at the first sign of a cold. oh and defiantely gargle w/warm salt water. its nasty but it works.
