I need your Prayers for my Little Niece UPDATED AGAIN 1-11-08

My little niece Isabella was admitted to the hospital tonight with pneumonia, she is on oxygen, and has had 1-04-105 fever for 3 days straight. The doctors kept telling my sister its viral and from teething, no big deal, but its serious, she has been diagnosed with RSV, and i am so worried
she is 7 months, and my god daughter.
I am waiting to hear from my sister right now, and i am really freaking out.

UPDATE: I just woke up, around 1am my sister was finally checked into a room. My neice is in a bed that is enclosed, hooked up to every monitor, catheter, and machine. She has Fluid in her lungs, and was finally resting. I am waiting to hear back from my sister. She was so exhausted, she slept in a chair next to Izzy in the room. She is highly contagious to other babies, so everyone is taking alot of precautions.
THANK YOU TO ALL for all the nice things everyone says, i truely love this message board and all it can do when someone is in need.
I will update when i have more news.

My mom is at the hospital now, she just told me she is still not doing well, and still has a high fever.
I do not think she is at a good hospital, my mom said there are no doctors around at all. I wish i could get her into a differnet hospital.

SHe is in South Nassau Communities Hospital In Oceanside

Very upsetting, Izzy's breathing is still not good, so no word on when she will be getting out, and she was still running a fever all night last night. and she cried all night last night. As soon as i know more i will post.

Another Update, The doctor told my sister she has to stay until Monday

Aww- poor little baby I that she gets well soon.

My brother had RSV when he was 3 months old. (hes 12 yrs old now) They didnt hospitalize him, but my mom had to wake him up to give him a nebulizer and count his respirations every few hours. Its so scary when they are so little and they are so sick.

But Isabella will get better. RSV is very common and I'm sure the doctors will make her all better.

i will definitely say a prayer for her. I am sorry for all the worry she is absolutely precious, i will pray for her quick and healthy recovery

Aww! She's so cute! Unfortunately, this is the season for RSV. I cannot tell you within the past 2 months how many of my patients came in RSV+. I do hope she gets proper treatment. Your niece will get better. It just hurts to see them suffer.
