I have called off my engagment. Deep inside I know it is for the better but it still hurts. I'm strong and I'll get over it. I have a wonderful family besides me!

I'll still be around lurking around here because I love talking to you guys! Thank you girls for all your wedding advice - I'll keep it in mind when the right time comes along

I dont know what your situation is, but I know one thing, it takes GUTS to call it off and be proud of yourself that you love yourself enough to do it!!!!! Be very proud of yourself. I know how you must be feeling, its not a good place to be, please know that I will meet you and talk this out with you if you want, whatever you need. When I went through this, it was the hardest time of my life, I didnt know whether I was coming or going, wlaking around like I was in a daze, so please know I am here to listen if you need it!!! PLEASE know that!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear your news!
But as it has been said before, it takes an incredibly strong person to make such a tough decision. I am sure in the end it will work out as planned. My brother called off his engagement and a short time later he met my SIL and they have now been married for 6years and have 2 beautiful kids! Same with my DAD, after ending his engagement he met my Mom and my parents have now been together for 37 years tomorrow!!!!!!!
