I officially booked my RH!!!

I officially booked my RH!!!

FH and I just came back from Leonard's of Great Neck. We signed the contract and left a deposit!!!!!!! We are getting married on May 24th 2009 at 6:00pm. It's the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. It works out great because most people will have off that Monday so they can stay late and party!! We're so excited and relieved. It's been so stressful for us for the past year trying to decide where to get married. We even were set on Jamaica for a while. It's weird though because now it really feels official....We are working with Antonio and he has really been awesome. He gave us a great deal and answered all of our questions. We are also having the ceremony onsite in the indoor chapel. It's so pretty!

I am officially a Leonard's bride!!!

Congrats Maureen, I am glad you finally booked a RH and deciede to stay here and have it here. I really think that you and Fh can start paying down the hall, whatever it may be. You can do alot of DIY stuff. Congrats again girl and Leonards is gorgeous fit for a King and Queen

Our second option was the Sunday before Labor Day if May 24th was taken. It's a Sunday wedding and I want people to stay and party late. Now most people will be off on that Monday.

Congratulations! Picking the location was the hardest part for us too - we alomst skipped it all and went to Vegas

We did make the right choice. Jamaica was beautiful but we can always go visit...Now we will have the people that mean the most to us share our special day. Also since our family has heard that we are having it here they are offering to help us out a little. I'm sure if we picked Jamaica they would not have been able to help us. My sister is awesome, she is going to buy my wedding dress for me I just got off the phone with FMIL and told her we booked. She said she will talk to his stepfather and see if they can pay for photos or limos I told her that they really don't have to...we are not expecting them to help..but if they want to I won't say no.
