We went to the house afterwards but could only stand to stay there about a half hour because it is just so sweltering. We have two brand new air conditioners waiting to be put in and no frekkin electricity.
I dont know HOW on earth Im going to get any work done there this weekend with no power.
Rob just called Home depot and its like 55 bucks a day to rent a generator to run the AC and a few lights off of. Do you think its worth it for sat and sun??
I wish I could say I am exicted, but I guess it doesnt feel real yet since we cant even go stand being there for more than 30 min at a time!
I want to take fred there with me to clean tomorrow BUT he doesnt do well in the heat. I wish I could at least run a fan :(

Congrats on the house, Jen! As for the whole generator thing - try it for a day - it doesn't hurt - and see how you feel. With no furntiure and the weather cooling down, maybe you'll be okay!!!

Congrats Jenn I would definately rent the generator for $55 per day! It is totally worth it in the long run! You want to get some cleaning done & you will need some lights!!!

Closing was good.. was about 2 hours and actually NOT as much signing as I thought. I mean there was a TON but I was thinking worse.
We actuall yleft there with money because we over financed the closing costs. WHOO HOO.
