So my mom is throwing me a shower tomorrow in Maine and I peeked at my registry, and nothing has been taken off since the shower my sister threw for me in NY- do you think something is wrong with the registries???? I feel so awkward opening duplicates!!

Could it be a 'themed' shower -i.e. could your mom have told everyone just to bring lingerie?

Maybe since its OOT they will do primarily cash gifts. That way you don't have to tote or send gifts back to home?????

No its not a theme- I know this for a fact. I just peeked again and a cheese board was taken off so I know Im getting that! LOL. I think its cus I didn't put low enough priced things on there- my moms friends usually only spend $15-$30 on gifts and a lot of my stuff is like $45 with the exception of little knickknacks I put on. But when i hasd cheaper things on there my FH's family said i didn't have enough higher priced things for the NY people, so I got confused! And The people from maine dont even give cash at the wedding- they will be bringing actual gifts- which is fine, just hard to choose things when I dont need much. it'll be interesting! But its the thought that matters!! And I am really grateful for people getting me things, Im just concerned something got mixed up with the registries.
