I put 2 of my handmade pins on ebay!!!

I have to redo the others, the metallic ink didn't seal properly so it smudged, I'm trying to figure out why.

did you open up a separate account?

to make a seller's acct on ebay you just have to give a credit card # and a checking acct# and tell them which you'll use to pay your fees. I already have a paypal account from buying on ebay, so they're paying me through that. It was really easy. The hardest part was coming up with the item description and all the details.

ETA: I did it all with my EXISTING account. HTH

ah -- but even though you are using paypal for payment, did you still have to provide a checking account #?

Yeah, they just do it to verify your identity, they don't actually touch it unless you select it as your method of paying listing fees.

ah, that's what i thought

we have a lot of stuff we can sell, but i'm not putting any of my bank account numbers out there

so what i will do eventually is open up a separate account, put in the minimum and use that for ebay. This way, if it gets hacked, it won't be the master account

haha...I'm really not paranoid about that stuff, but that's a good idea. I actually put in a checking acct that has no $$ in it, I think i might actually be closed, and if it sin't I'm closing it. I'm openning a new account at another bank, I hate my bank
