FH and I cannot deicde on a honeymoon!!! We dont really want to go to hawaii and we have been to aruba and barbados. I would like to do a mediteraanean cruise, but FH is unsure if we will be able to relax or just be stuck doing touristy stuff the whole time. I dont think tahitti is in our budget and I really want to go somewhere amazing that I probably wont go again. We DO NOT like to 'plan' our own activities so we do enjoy cruises because there is so much to do all the time. My aunt also gave us a week in a timeshare pretty much anywhere in the world so we were thinking of cruising somewhere and then staying for a week, but we dont want to break the bank either..
ANy suggestions????

we're going to the british virgin islands... virgin gorda... we're staying at the bitter end yacht club (beyc.com) but there is also little dix bay and biras creek resorts as well... its a small island, thats not too built up or touristy.... but the resorts all have planned things you can do it you want ( snorkeling trips, tours to nearby islands, etc) so there is organzied stuff you can do if ya want have fun!!!

What about Costa Del Sol in Spain....wasn't very expensive, absolutely beautiful and they have a big boardwalk area on the water with lots of clubs and activities! I have a FABULOUS time there.

We had a really hard time deciding too but finally settled on Nevis. It was between nevis & costa rica but we thought Nevis was more for us. I can't wait to go & relax at the beach for 10 days. We are staying at the Four Seasons & got an amazing deal.

Another great place was Margarita Island in venezula but I'm not sure what's going on over there now....when we booked our honeymoon I inquired about why I hadn't seen any advertisements anymore and she said that there's some unrest with the government....if things have settled down now I recommend checking it out. I had a blast!

We also wanted a unique honeymoon with beautiful water and lots of activities like snorkeling, etc. We were back and forth between Cap Juluca in Anguilla and Tahiti.
We finally decided on Tahiti!!!!!!!! You can definitely do it on a budget. We recently got a quote for 10 days/9 nights for about $5,400!! It includes:
R/T non-stop airfare from NY Ferry transfers from tahiti-moorea Trip insurance 3 nights Tahiti (intercontinental) reg. room 3 nights Moorea (sofitel) garden bungalow 3 nights Moorea (sofitel) overwater bungalow!
Since our budget was about $5k, we opted not to do Bora Bora this trip... it would have been over $2k more. We are so happy w/ our decision as you can't go wrong in FP!!
