I REALLY hate my dress....

No I cant get another one - its too late and I dont want my mom to lose the $$$ she already paid. I feel horrible and I dont know what to do.

I know Ive said this on here before and I am sorry. Maybe I am just venting. I dont know what to do but I really hate it!!!!

i love your dress. once you are all dressed it will all come together and look lovely. i hated mine too but loved the way it looked the day of the wedding.

Please don't take this the wrong way - but if you hate how it looks on you but think it looks nice on the model...why not change how it looks on you? YOu have seven months to make a difference :) I think the dress is very pretty though.

Not for nothing and not to be a trouble maker but I don't know how to take this if you posted this to me. I know your intentions are good but I seriously don't know how I would handle this.

Honestly, the dress looks better on you than it does on the model. It's a beautiful dress- there's not TOO much going on with it but it's also not plain.

If you're really that unhappy, though, I'd pay it off, (if the place you got it from won't bend) and try to sell it. There's ebay and another site called preownedweddingdressses.com. I've also seen people trying to sell their dresses on The Knot. You'd ultimately take somewhat of a loss, but if you're THAT unhappy, it might be worth it in the end. You're already spending SO much money, you know? If you're going to look at your wedding pics down the line and say to yourself, I hate my dress, then get another one. There are lots of gorgeous inexpensive dresses out there.

You really do have plenty of time too- I ordered my dress in April and it came in July. You have lots of time till your wedding to order something else.

All that said, maybe give yourself a few days to think about things. I love my dress but I also had some serious buyer's remorse, to the point where I was looking all over the 'net for something else. But I came back to realize that my dress was perfect for me. I just needed a little time to realize it.

i'm going to be honest...i really like the dress!!!

like the girls said, once you have the veil and tiara and your hair is all done and you have the makeup and flowers you OF COURSE will look special!!! you make the dress special...it's not the other way around!!!

TOO PLAIN ?? That dress is BEAUTIFUL ! Classic and elegant ........if you feel it's too plain you can always go glitzy w/ a tiara, bigger hair, poofier veil etc.......
But honestly, i'd take that gown, a classingcd rop pearl earing, a french twist or something like that and you look AMAZING ! -

That dress was one of the dresses that I tried on. I love it and it looks great on you. Really think about if before you make a final decision. Good luck!!!

date twin, are you going crazy on me. Your dress is beautiful and trust me I would not just say that. I like the off the shoulder and it is fancy enough. I dont get it, what is it that is really bothering you about it?

the dress is great! And ask anyone on here that knows me..I am the QUEEN of honest opinions, so If I am posting you can be sure, I'm telling the truth..I dont believe in false compliments so that being said..when I saw the dress on you, I thought, WOW thats her....Thats the truth...I dont think the dress is plain at all...It has a lot going on...

Also..think if it like this...your gonna have your hair done and a tiara and a veil....and a full face of beautiful make-up...and whatever jewlery you choose...and nice shoes and be all glammed up.....

you will feel different then standing in the dress or looking at a pic on your wedding day!!!!

Actually, I don't particularly care for it on the model but it looks beautiful on you! I don't think it's plain at all. But, if you are that against it see if you can get a new one sell the dress on ebay.

Ok...if it is too plan why don't you dress it up with a huge tiara or beautiful head piece. I like the ebay idea too. Also, don't judge how you look in the dress unless your hair and make-up are done, and you are wearing the right undergarments.
