i really think i am losing my mind...

i have been stuck between 2 photographers...gray studios and patken...there are pros and cons to both

i keep changing my mind every 5 minutes. Today i called fh and said lets just book patken so he was gonna call them...but i called him back a few minutes later like no lets go with gray! this has been going on for awhile...i think he may kill me!

ahhhh i dont know what to do!

pros for patken

a little cheaper (and get more stuff in the package), a lot of feedback on this site (not a lot of feedback about gray studios), and they retouch all the proofs not just the ones you select

pros for gray studios

i like the quality of the work a little better, we would know who our photog is and really like him (at patken we would get paired with the photog after), the package comes with a photojournalist asst (we'd have to pay at patken to add a 2nd photog)

uhhh you really do have a hard choice!! i like the idea of having an asst. but i would like the idea of getting more..

Look at some more photographers...maybe you'll find one you like even more than those two! That'll make your decision easy

We went to four and I would recommend 3... We booked with Duet, but I liked Patken and also I would meet with Thomas Paul.... Theyre all very good...

we booked with Marco photo and video in Bohemia...

dunno if u went there, but we love them! n we got to pick the owner as our photog...so that was really good

get them in a bidding war! If you are that close then go with price .. then use that to your advantage

work it girl! If you need help let me know ... been in sales a loooong time. NEGOTIATE

I think the key with photography is who does the best work and who will make you most comfortable on your wedding day. I booked with Imagine Studios. While some photogs gave me me more...some of it was stuff i didnt even need. I chose to go with someone that I absolutely loved rather than who would throw in a zillion things. And the good thing about some photogs is that they provide a disk with the pics...so you can easily and inexpensively make your own copies. It might sound great when they throw in an extra 8x10 etc...but you can make your own for $6! JMO

I agree with this, the prints are nothing. basicalyy they're taking $20 off. that helped us make our decision as well...
