Originally we were going to get one...but then people have said that it drew a lot of people there and away from the dance floor...I didnt want that at my wedding so we decided against it.

ITA. they are totally fun and cute but this is also the reason we decided against it.

We are still on the fence about it. We want one and but everyone makes excellent points.

All eyes should be on me that day!!!

if you dont mind me crashing i have an alternate suggestion....

get a really nice scrap book or photoalbum with the sticky pages and go to the drug store and get a poloroid camera and extra film.Its still interactive and fun with the same idea and less then half the cost. make a little poem about how you want them to take one pic for them to remember your day and one pic for your album so you can remember it as well!

I want one too!

I actually was considering the polarid camera thing but a few people made excellent points, that polarid pictures fade much more quickly.

I am not into a photo booth to have on my wedding but I am pretty sure if you look around you could find something that fits your budget. Also if you really really want it you can put it as a priority and start saving for it!. That's what I did with Fh's surprise i started putting money aside it worked for me! good luck

its funny i see this up tonight. i have been talking to my fh and i was telling him the same thing. i think a photo booth will be great. i saw that on some wedding on tv and i loved it. how much did u find it for.

I was thinking about one since I will be booking FM Entertainment and it's only an extra $1200 if you're using them as your DJ.

But I am concerned (like many other brides here) that people will be lined up for it all night instead of on the dance floor.

Maybe I was thinking to have the DJ coordinate it somehow like call one table at a time to go use the photobooth.... otherwise I don't want it cause I can see it being a major distraction.
