I saw a rerun of Bridzillas last night and have a question

This may be a realy dumb question, but..................

What is an american manicure?

The lady that was super bossy with her BM's in telling them that they all had to look exactly alike, right down to their shoes. and one thing she said was you're all getting american manicures.

Someone asked this question on BHB a while back... here is the response:

With the French manicure, the free end of the nail is painted white while the body of the nail is colored either buff or natural. The American manicure is similar, but the white is softer and the nail body is clear pink. The Canadian manicure colouring is between the French and American manicure colours.

I saw that too last night. I though her bm's dresses were really pretty, and looked good on all the girls, BUT, why is she so obsessed with everything being 'uniform?'

I hear that. I could never be like that towards my girls. First and for most they are my friends and friends don't treat friends like that IMO. I would drop out. I loved the part where her girls were laughing and joking around during that one fitting and she was standing there all moody and not one crack of a smile.

I told my girls if at any point i get moody or have an attitude towards them, to smack me and they will

I hear you. I told my BP they could wear any shoes they wanted as long as they were dyed to match and they looked at me as if to say 'You mean you aren't going to make us wear the same shoes?' How could I do that when I have issues with my own feet. If I knew that my feet wouldn't show, I would wear sneakers. But my dress is silk and straight with no crinoline underneath and my feet stick out when I walk. As long as they do not wear red nailpolish, they can have whatever manicure they want - French, American, Canadian, Chinese or even Botswananian - WHO CARES!!!!
