I saw her again.....

Went to my second fitting yesterday and it was just as meaningful as it was the first fitting but now we are bonding even more. Lol I can't explain it. It's amazing how there are thousands of dresses made by different designers with different styles and we get to choose one. Just one. There was a soon to be bride there before me finishing up with her fitting and she looked stunning. Completely different style from my dress yet for her, she found her dress and she looked beautiful in it. As I tried mine on again and still had a picture of the previous soon to be bride in my head, it's amazing how one can put on a dress and somehow some way the dress you choose out of the thousands that are out there and out of the many dresses you may have tried on - you find the one. As I stood in front of the mirror staring back at my reflection I can't believe that I was wearing a dress that was suppose to be made just for me!!!!! Amazing feeling. I missed her so much. She is so simple yet so elegant and makes me feel like the bride I had always imagined myself to be when I was a little girl. Till we see each other again on the 22nd.

I love the way you described your experience. I understand having a love of your own dress. In such a short amount of time we will be sharing that with all of our friends and family : )

Nicole this has been some journey to get here. I guess now with the countdown drawing near I'm really taking it all in and savoring every moment. There is so much that comes with planning a wedding. Very different from when our parents got married and so forth. Times have changed. I am realizing the little hiccups that came along the way things have a way of working themselves out and things are as they should be. From the dress, to the flowers, to venue of your choosing to the smallest details that our guests and family may not notice but us as brides do. I am so excited for all you ladies. Big hug!
