i was at my moms house looking at something unrelated. i look down and i see this awesome looking stationary and i see my name and i think what the hell is this - im about to pick it up and then it hits me that it must be my shower invite. i throw it down and pretend i dont see it but i saw the date. im really happy that i didnt see the location - but now i have fake being completely surpirsed. im def sad but at least no one gave it away. no one even knows that i know cause my mom wasnt in the room and FH isnt home yet so i havent told him.. im just gonna tell him and no one else but im def a little bummed.. i guess theres like a 1% chance that its not the invite since i didnt read it... ETA - i am upset that i saw cause its a surprise - the invite itself really LOOKS awesome (i thought my post title looked like i didnt like the invite- it was really cute!)

I found out about mine too and was really upset-I was even crying. But actually it was still AMAZING-There was still so many surprises that day and since I knew the date I made sure I looked good, which is always a plus! I know it is a bummer, but Im sure you will still be blown away at your shower!

FAKE INVITE... I thought I saw my invite. they made me think and see an invitation for June 24th and well it showered on Sunday June 3rd, so surprised. FH. was in on it too. I told him and he was like Ohhh, and pretended to be sad for me.
JUST a thought it was done to me and it was great!!!!!!!!
I hope the same is being done to you.

Haha thanks for adding some doubt – but im pretty sure this was it. I saw it in such an odd place that im like 99% sure it was real. Although FH did try to convince me that it was a fake so maybe you are all right. to be honest I just don’t think my girls are that smart to plan a fake in the place that I saw it (it was in my grandma’s den underneath a baby announcement that they received – it was basically in a pile of invitation-type items). Anyway thanks for the added doubt – a girl can hope!!
