i saw my shower invite

i was at my moms house looking at something unrelated. i look down and i see this awesome looking stationary and i see my name and i think what the hell is this - im about to pick it up and then it hits me that it must be my shower invite. i throw it down and pretend i dont see it but i saw the date. im really happy that i didnt see the location - but now i have fake being completely surpirsed. im def sad but at least no one gave it away. no one even knows that i know cause my mom wasnt in the room and FH isnt home yet so i havent told him.. im just gonna tell him and no one else but im def a little bummed.. i guess theres like a 1% chance that its not the invite since i didnt read it...
ETA - i am upset that i saw cause its a surprise - the invite itself really LOOKS awesome (i thought my post title looked like i didnt like the invite- it was really cute!)

at least you can prep and make sure you hair & nails are looking nice and plan and outfit!

I can imagine you must be bummed. IMO I would not tell your FH as he might have played a part in putting this together. As Melissa suggested take the information and use it as a heads up to make yourself camera ready.

It ***** that you know, but now you know when to have your nails done and get a blow-out!! Relax and just have fun.......they put a lot of energy into it for you! It will all work out plus you have a heads up on when to clean your house so when people help deliver gifts home you look like martha stewart

lol thanks for all the great advice.
i already told FH and he seemed sad for me but he promised he wouldnt tell my girls. im sure he had very little part of the planning it - he wasnt all that upset lol.
and now at least i will look great and I can order the dress i originally wanted but thought it might take too long to come in

ahh! That Stinks! but hey, it you never know! It could just be a mock up invite to thow you off the Real Shower Date!!!! So it is possible that that is not your shower and you will be suprised any way!!!

I am sorry that you saw your shower invite. I am sure that you will have lots of fun at shower. Look at it this way, at least you will be prepared (hair, nails & special outfit) for the day itself.

that stinks that the surprise is ruined but look on the bright side you will be prepared and looking your best and atleast you still dont know where it is!

My mom asked me if I wanted to know. I said 'of course not it's a lot more fun to watch you try to surprise me.' My mom she is like controlled chaos in those situations it's funny to watch, she doesn't realize I pick up on her little party OCD's
