i seriously can not take my mother anymore..
does anyone have a mother of the bride to spare? because im bout to trade mine in..
first she holds up my invitations because she can't seem to find the last names of her family.. (yeah her family)
then after damn near crying, she finally sends me her invite list.. it's still missing 3 names
4 of her invites come back because she doesn't put the zip codes on.. (she tells me the post office should be able to figure it out.. NO they don't have to do tht mom!!)
now.. i ask her if she can tell me how many wedding favors she's going to need so i can start ordering them.. oh... well i don't know till all of the rsvp's come back.. smh.. yes i KNOW THIS. but can you at least tell me how many freaking people you have invited???? i can do some rough estimates from that.. nope.. no clue.. why? because she's still freaking INVITING PEOPLE ON THE PHONE!!
i mean seriously.. who does THAT?? she calls her cousin the other day, and his mom and sister are the ones whose last names she dind't know and couldn't find their addresses.. he tells her oh i have the information about my mom and sis that you wanted. she's like oh okay.. give it to me.. i'll call them and tell them about the wedding.. mind u my invitations went into the mail three weeks ago!

then her other cousin.. who i love dearly, she's more my cousin than my mom's.. recently had a babyl... like last week... so i mentioend to my mom that i dont want the infant (who wil only be bout 8 weeks old) at the ceremony..
my mom: well what DO you want mina.. for her and the baby to stand outside in the cold?
me: obviously i dont' want her to stand outside in the cold ma, but i dont think it's asking a whole lot for me to NOT want infants at my wedding! DAMN..
