most of my family considers my wedding a burden. I have one cousin other than my parents that is excited for my wedding. Everyone else just keeps saying 'why does it have to be in NY?' NY isn't that far!!

Thanks, girls! MD, where I live is 8 hours away from Boston, so I couldn't have had the wedding there. If I had it the most convenient for me (in MD), then my family would have to travel 8 hours instead of 3.5. Maybe my family needs a quick lesson in geography.

Maybe you could send them a map???

Awwwww...... I definetely hear ya Beth. As you know, I'm having issues with my brother. It hurts like a b....... and they are just really immature, but, as my sister-in-law says....... If, at the end of the day, you're married, then its a hit. If you're not, then its a wash. We are both marrying the men of our dreams
