I spent 2 hours in the maternity ward last night!

The baby is usually very very active and I noticed starting Monday afternoon it wasn't moving so much and that continued into Tuesday night. I told DH and he suggested I call my Dr. So I did but as I was on hold the little one decided to give me some kicks, DH even felt one. So I told the Dr. but he wanted me to go to the hospital anyway. He reassured me all was fine but just as a precaution. They did a sono and that was fine (baby weighs 2lbs right on target) and then they hooked me up to a fetal monitor for an hour! I had to lay on my left side and press a button every time it moved while DH fed me ice chips. After an hour on your side on a hard examing table with a bad back to begin with you start to get a little cranky!!! But thank god all is fine.

Thanks guys. It was a little scare but deep down I just had a feeling all was okay!

glad to hear all is well I had to do the same thing about 3 weeks ago b/c of contractions but it was just braxton hicks.....
