I STILL don't have a hair person - help!!!
I'm not sure what to do - I need someone in Nassau (close to East Meadow) but I don't want any super-fancy hair-do so I don't want to pay $100 for something simple (so I don't want someone to come to the house). Somebody had suggested a lady at Ulta salon, but does anybody have any other suggestions? It's getting down to the wire!

Why don't you try going to a rehular hair salon in your town? Thats what I did for prom hairstyles and for when I go to weddings. It usually costs $45-60. Ask your friends and neighbors where they go!

Well, it's not next door to East Meadow but it's not too far either - Hairsay in New Hyde Park is wonderful. They have really great people who are specialists in their jobs. It's a mini day spa (all Aveda products). Here's the website - it has their price list. It'd definitely be less than $100 (that's a little ridiculous, I think!).Hairsay

Ok, I gave Hairsay a call and they can fit me in. They're $75 the day of the wedding which is still kind of expensive but it's better than $100!Thanks!

Double check who you're having it with - on the website it lists $45 for formal hair by a stylist, $80 if you're having an owner. (Larry is the owner, if they gave you the name but not the 'title'). Maybe they'll have someone cheaper?

They scheduled me with a girl named April. I swear, they always try to rip off the bride! I even told her that I just want a simple half-up half-down. I can still try the lady at Ulta in Levittown too....Welcome New Vendors
