It must be her objective in life to just ruin surprises. So far she has told me what all of my close relatives have bought me for the shower AS WELL as what they've bought me for Christmas.
I'm just waiting for her to tell me about the shower itself and then I'm going to FLIP! She KNOWS I like surprises and she has to go and ruin EVERY SINGLE ONE.
And no, this is not a 'well she is probably just excited and doesn't even mean to do it'
She is not excited - she is miserable - always has been - always will be. She does it on purpose because she figures 'what's the big deal if you know?' and she KNOWS it bothers me.
GRRRRR I swear sometimes I just HATE her!

ugh i feel your pain!!
the night of my shower my mom gave me a break down of how much everything cost her - i told her she should have saved the receipts to show me eaxactly how much she ended up spending
