I think I am deleting my Fortunoff registry

I am not exagerating, I have asked FOUR TIMES (3 times by phone, once via email) for my registry cards to be mailed to me. The last time I asked was on Saturday, and if they do not arrive by Friday, I am going to delete the whole thing and choose another store. What is so difficult? Why tell me they will mail and then not do it? ARRGGHHHH.

its not right but if you really need them that badly you could also go pick them up?

Thats so wrong. I registered at Fortunoff's too; I hope I do not have the same problem. How annoying.

do you really need them? most shower invitations that i have gotten lately had a little spot on the bottom that said where the couple was registered. i don't think i have ever gotten the cards in a shower invitation

I had to get rid of my Macy's registry because they were so unbelievably rude and unhelpful. You have to do what's right for you and this wedding. Stay firm!

you're better off, just making your own if you want them. Just buy business cards and print the info yourself if you want to include them in your shower invitations. Also Fortunoff only gives you about 20 of them. No more than that.

I never got them either. I registered online & I was opposed to receive a 'welcome package' but I never did. I don't really need them though.

You're better off just going to Fortunoff yourself to do that....but whoever is sending out your shower invites, should include Fortunoff in there, with your registry #

OMG Wendy you are tooo too nice! But seriously, I am standing firm on this one. It's the principle of the thing (LOL I sound like an old lady!)

If this is the customer service I get before anyone has even bought anything, I can't imagine what it would be like afterwards.

When I called them for ours they told me I had to pick them up. Which we did. Maybe you should just go pick them up.

You probably think I am insane, but it's not that I won't go pick them up, it's that they told me 4 times that they would mail them and they haven't. If they said from the beginning to come pick them up, I would have gladly.

I work there I could stop by Bridal Registry and yell at them to send them out- If you want to FM me your address (I'm not a scary stalker I swear!) I could mail them to you from the store!
They probably connected you to the customer service dept (which is in a separate building) and unless the Cust. Serv. Rep you spoke to called the store and let them know, you may not get them again-and honestly I've worked there for 7 years and they really do treat the brides WONDERFULLY! and I'm not saying that because I work there (and am registered there)!

You are too nice! Geez, you guys are great. I'll calm down. Its good to hear from a fellow bride that they are nice to the bride. (To myself: Deep breaths!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

no prob! Good luck! Ohhh and if you want to really freak them out and MAKE SURE THEY SEND THEM you should just ask to speak to Elaine Rosen (she's the store president!) that'll put a fire under their butts!
