Im not happy about A Rod...

I just dont think he meshes with the Yankee team. He is a great player of course but I would have loved to see Tino back instead.

I totally disagree.. Knob was the anchor of the inflield.. without him.. there have been no worlds series titles... i long for the days of knobby.. the yankees will never win again without him. so sad.........

Knobby had his good days, but was worthless in the end.

Felicia.. I say 3rd is good for the Mets.. 84 wins total. Fourth is a possibilty though. Definitely no shot at the playoffs.

and we got cheap... we should have mortgaged Shea and brought him in.. of course, it would have guaranteed us nothing.... as it guarantees the Yankees nothing now.. but the Mets would not be wallowing in the middle of the division if they had... alas........ oh well......

someday we'll be back.. but remember.. you still gotta play the games first even if you have an all-star tam on the field.

Felicia , I wish I could say I was as good-hearted towards the yanks as you are towards the mets. I rooted for the Ynks up until I was 12 or 13.. then I just changed.. I couldn't root for them anymore... even back in 93 before they statred winning.. i couldn't root for them. dunno what happened.

I like your graciousness.. wish I could imitiate it.
