I THINK I FOUND A DRESS FOR MY MOM!!

Its so hard to not only have my mom in another country during my wedding planning, but to also have to go looking for a dress for her. My mom is very conservative but I know she wants to look GORGEOUS on my wedding day.
I found this dress today in the garment district in the city and loved it! its a champagne color and has beautiful details. Please let me know what you think. I actually had to put it on myself to take pics of it! So weird! the dress is pretty big on me and i had to keep it from falling off while holding the camera

Its nice but do you mind that it is in white? RK bridal has a lot of nice conservative dresses too... My mother is the same way.

That dress is really nice...but i know alot of stores in the Garment district do not have a return policy...that may be tough to deal with if the dress is too big or too small on your mom..

i always seem to have this dilemna with champagne colored dresses on this site. always ends up looking a lot lighter for some reason.

Where does your mother live? I would suggest having her shop there and then shipping. Someone else posted about it not fitting and I would worry about that.

Yeah... It looks so white at first lol. (How do you copy what someone else says before you post?) My friends mom wore a champagne dress to her wedding and it was gorgeous. I really like that color. I just thought it was white here lol.

she lives in the dominican republic. i was there recently and we did go dress shopping but we didnt find anything she really liked.

i bought the dress so that it has a little more room than most of her dresses. in case it needs to be taken in if its too big.

Alot of the stores in the Garment district are weird like that..i went shopping for a formal dress and alot of the stores didnt allow you to try them on the store..which was really weird and you couldnt return only exchange..

yes u are so right about that. i went to about 4 stores like that. i have a friend who works in the garment district and was able to direct me to this store where I can exchange only within 30 days.
