Its so hard to not only have my mom in another country during my wedding planning, but to also have to go looking for a dress for her. My mom is very conservative but I know she wants to look GORGEOUS on my wedding day.
I found this dress today in the garment district in the city and loved it! its a champagne color and has beautiful details. Please let me know what you think. I actually had to put it on myself to take pics of it! So weird! the dress is pretty big on me and i had to keep it from falling off while holding the camera

mady it is beautiful I am in the same situation as you. I have to go shopping for my mother dress. Can you please share details where you found the dress. I am around the garmet district I will go right after work. The dress is so pretty.

my sister in law is actually flying out to the dominican republic in 2 weeks so I will send the dress with her. im sure she will love it tho.

How are the prices there??

they have different price ranges. anywhere up to $500. beautiful dresses. u can walk up and down that whole block and its nothing but dresses. keep in mind though that most of the stores there have a no exchange/no return policy plus you will have to do your own alterations.
if ur in the area, doesnt hurt to take a look and see what you find
